Friday, January 12th is the last day to turn in articles for the Winter issue of STTACC Chat. There’s no need to worry about formatting; just send an email to your Region Coordinator and we will take care of the rest. Photos are a great addition to share your news. Consider what your college has done since September. Use your campus resources or check out the STTACC Chat Archives  for topic suggestions. Some ideas are:

  • Campus trainings
  • Retirements
  • Award recognitions
  • Holiday events
  • Community service projects
  • Special programs
  • Professional development opportunities; past, present or future
  • Promotions

Wanted: STTACC Chat Winter 2018 Articles

It’s never too early to submit articles for the next issue of STTACC Chat. We are looking for articles geared toward classified staff. Have you attended a class, training event or conference lately? Tell us about it! Is one of your colleagues retiring? Honor them by putting an article in STTACC Chat. Does your college have a unique or newsworthy event you would like to share? We would like to know!

Photos are a great enhancement to the newsletter, and just by answering the five W’s (and how) you will have an article in no time!

  1. Who was involved?
  2. What happened?
  3. When did it happen?
  4. Where did it happen?
  5. Why did it happen?

Please be aware that while we strive to keep articles in the format they were submitted, occasionally edits will need to be made. If you have any questions or comments about STTACC Chat send an email to communicationcoordinator@sttacc.net.

Web Site Update 2017

**Update 11/21** Due to family issues, the Webmaster has postponed the new site till Nov. 22 evening.

STTACC is excited to announce that Tuesday, November 21, will be the launch of the new STTACC website! Due to the upcoming changes, please be aware that the website will be in maintenance mode Wednesday, November 15 through Monday, November 20. Be sure to check www.sttacc.net Tuesday morning to see all the new changes!
